According to the Official Charts Company, Kamikaze now holds the record for the fifth-most streams racked up by one album in its opening week in the U.K. In just its first seven days, Kamikaze earned 30,000 equivalent units from streaming alone, which equates to millions of plays in just the U.K. alone. The title managed 55,000 total units, so it's clear how large a role streaming played in helping Eminem's new studio album rise to the top. Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) remains the album with the most equivalent units from streams in an opening week with an incredible 79,000. Drake occupies the next two spots, as his most recent chart champion Scorpion earned 50,000 streaming equivalent albums units when it arrived, and last year, his playlist project More Life collected 36,000 equivalents.
