The launch on July 14 at 21:51 BST will see a Mars Hope probe launched on board a 53-metre Mitsubishi rocket from the Tanegashima Space Centre in Japan. It will then embark on a 307-million-mile journey to Mars, landing in February 2021. (Image: Emirates Mars Mission)From there, the probe will start its seven-month journey to reach Mars. But we have already – before we even launch the mission – learned so much and accomplished so much in taking on that challenge.
