Emperador To Withhold 40% Of Capex – The Manila Times


Listed Emperador Inc. announced on Thursday that it would hold back about 40 percent of its capital expenditure (capex) for this year while the country is battling the coronavirus pandemic. Rrevenues were flat at P21.54 billion from P21.46 billion year-on-year. The briefing comes days after Emperador shares were placed on the main board of the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi). “We are doubly happy with Emperador joining the PSEi this week after seeing that our company had sustained earnings growth in the second quarter of this year amid all the pandemic challenges. Emperador shares shed 8 centavos or 0.79 percent to finish at P10.10 apiece on Thursday.
