About 240 home guards got their dues, amounting to about ₹74,000 after a gap of about five months. “The same was issued to the treasury a week ago and the remuneration was credited to their bank accounts on Saturday,” the official said. “We get our payment with a gap of more than five to six months. Last October we got our remuneration after a gap of over 10 months,” a home guard said. “For now we are happy that they have finally credited our dues,” the home guard said.
