New Delhi: The ministry of external affairs Saturday clarified its position on the purchase of Russian Oil. "Insofar as India's energy sourcing is concerned, govt has stated publicly on several occasions that ensuring energy security of 1.4 billion Indians is the supreme priority," the spokesperson said.The MEA underlined all decisions taken by India in the energy sector are driven by this overarching objective. "Diversifying our energy sourcing in keeping with objective market conditions and evolving international dynamics is at the core of our strategy to ensure this," the spokesperson said. "All of India's actions are taken and will be taken with this in mind," he said.
