(CNN) World Cup runners-up England got back to winning ways in the Six Nations, beating Scotland 13-6 in a game heavily affected by Storm Ciara. With the high winds and relentless rain wreaking havoc for players handling and kicking, it was a low-scoring game. The usually unflappable Owen Farrell missed three penalties as a result of the gale-force winds, while Ellis Genge scored the only try of the game for England. Scotland fly-half Adam Hastings scored two penalties to keep Scotland close to its bitter rivals, but there proved to be no comeback, ensuring England went home with the coveted Calcutta Cup -- a trophy awarded to the winner of the games between England and Scotland. England climb level on points with second-placed Wales, while Scotland remain winless after losing their opening game to Ireland.
