England have lit up the Wembley arch in rainbow colours after the FA were warned Harry Kane would face serious punishment for wearing a OneLove armand at the Qatar World Cup. Plenty of fans called for England to face whatever punishment came their way and make a stand rather than offering hollow gestures and backing down. Harry Kane had planned to take part in the protest as England captain, but backed down as he could have been stopped from playing and face an 'unlimited' punishment. The striker was seen wearing a rainbow Rolex ahead of Friday's clash against the USA, which may have been intended as a protest. For some fans, the protest at Wembley was a weak gesture from the FA after their change of stance on the armbands.
