The former teacher went viral during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with images of him in an England shirt holding a replicatrophy securing his cult hero status. The 62-year-old, who bears a resemblance to former Three Lions manager Steve McClaren, plans to attend his 10th World Cup this summer with England’s group games taking place in Dallas, Boston and New York in June. To finance the tour, Milne says he has put his second home in Northwich, Cheshire on the market for £350,000. ‘It [his second home] is going on the market because I’m selling it to go to the World Cup.
