Enhanced Box Score: Pirates 2, Cubs 1 – August 25, 2023I’m not going to make that loss all about a replay review decision in the 9th inning. A lot could have happened for the Cubs at the plate throughout that game that they did not make happen. A solo homer in the 9th inning from Ian Happ is simply not enough. It is not an overly impressive Pirates lineup, but that’s a perfectly adequate start overall. Full box score.
