Enterprise is testing a program launched last year by German carmaker Bosch called Automated Valet Parking (AVP). The test took place at the Detroit Smart Parking Lab in a central downtown Detroit town. The lab is a program that includes Bosch, Ford Motor Co. F + 1%, a commercial company Bedrock, which owns and operates a parking garage, Michigan State and operated by Ypsilanti, Mich.-based American Center for Mobility.
