Residents of Enugu metropolis on Friday went about their normal activities disregarding the Sit-At-Home order given by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, the News Agency of Nigeria reports. Others are the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps; Nigerian Prisons Service; Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Immigration ServicService and Nigeria Customs Service. “The deployment of security personnel, vehicles, aircrafts and other logistics was to forestall the sit-at-home order across the South-East states by IPOB meant to take effect today (Friday),’’ he said. Danmallam noted that security personnel had also been deployed to protect critical state and government infrastructure as well as public places. NAN also reports that both private and public vehicles were in large numbers on the roads going about their normal businesses.
