The simple math well-known environmentalist Kate Meads did at her waste-free parenting workshop in Papakura Library last week amazed the audience. Many products that come into people's lifestyles can have an impact on the environment, she says, and disposable nappies is one. LIU CHEN / STUFF Kate Meads explains how to wrap a cloth diaper. Meads works for 40 councils around New Zealand, and is doing three different workshops including waste-free living, waste-free parenting, and love food and hate waste.
