Feyenoord, 11 points behind Ajax in third, lost 1-0 at Groningen, where Sven van Beek netted an own goal in the first half. Michael De Leeuw's 59th-minute opener was cancelled out three minutes later by Marcus Edwards, and three minutes after that, Dennis Eckert put the hosts in front. Sunday's other game saw Utrecht win 1-0 at second-bottom De Graafschap, with Simon Gustafson converting a penalty with just under 15 minutes remaining.
