The 23-year-old suffered an ankle injury during the international break with Norway and was forced to withdraw from the national side last Saturday. City are due to host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday’s 12:30pm kick-off. City currently sit top of the Premier League with 28 points from 12 games, while Liverpool are a point behind in second place. Both sides have registered three wins and a draw in their last four Premier League games.
