New Delhi: A couple was arrested on Monday for the murder of a 63-year-old woman at northeast Delhi 's Mansarovar Park The woman, Vimla Tewari, used to stay alone in a two-room apartment and rent out one of the rooms to estranged couples to settle their differences. However, a police complaint was registered against Tewari after locals accused her of running a sex racket on the pretext of counselling divorced and estranged women. On the day of the murder, Tewari had invited the couple home to resolve their differences. A team from Mansarovar Park police station reached the spot and took Tewari to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Neighbours said there was blood on the wall, behind the bed and a deep gash on Tewari's head.
