The Ethiopia Ministry of Health on late Sunday reported two more confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total cases in the East African country to 21. “The Ethiopian Public Health Institute conducted additional laboratory tests and two additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed, making the total cases 21,” the Ethiopian Minister of Health, Lia Tadesse, disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday. The two latest cases are said to be a 38-year-old male and 35-year-old female Ethiopians residing in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. The two individuals were reported to have a history of travel to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates at different dates. The two patients, who were under medical follow up since the confirmation of the close contact, had “history of close contact with a previously confirmed case,” it was noted.
