Company to offer tours to Massawa and the Dahlak ArchipelagoThree Ethiopian tour companies, Monpays Tour, Sphere, Ava Tours and the Ethiopian Airlines are participating in the International French Travel Mart (IFTM)-Top Resa, being held in Paris from September 25-28. The companies, through their participation in this key annual gathering for tourism professionals, seek highlighting Ethiopia as a tourism destination, exploring new markets and opening up to new customers. Hiruy Tadesse Gessesse, a representative of Monpays Tours told Ethiopia Observer that the fair would provide an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones from the industry. The agency manages to bring around 1,000 tourists to Ethiopia per year. France remains one of the target countries of the Ethiopian Tourism Ministry and there are around ten Francophone companies catering for the demand.
