After a while, I heard a new autism center was opened, Nehemiah Autism Center, and I went to Rahel the founder. After staying for 6 years at Nehemiah Autism Center, the center was closed. AS What are the challenges of autistic children and their families in Ethiopia especially in the time of Covid19? There is lack of acceptance and shame in relation to having an autistic child or a child with intellectual disability. We hope this would make a difference in the lives of autistic children and children with other developmental disorders in these countries.
