An Ethiopian Airlines aircraft is seen in flight. Ethiopian Airlines currently operates four weekly passenger flights on the Hanoi–Addis Ababa route, with a stopover in Dhaka, Bangladesh, using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. The airline also maintains one weekly cargo flight, supporting trade links between Vietnam and African markets. Ethiopian Airlines said the combination of passenger and cargo services reflects its longer-term focus on logistics and commercial connectivity, in addition to tourism. Founded in 1945, Ethiopian Airlines operates a network of more than 145 international destinations and over 20 domestic routes, with a fleet of more than 160 aircraft.
