Ethiopian Airlines has announced major discount in fares ahead of the World Press Freedom Day to be hosted in Addis Ababa next month. A media dispatch from the airline said there will be a discount of 15 per cent of fares for the business class and 12 per cent for the economy class fares. There would also be a 20 per cent discount on both business and economy class fares for all participants from Africa flying to Addis Ababa. Ethiopian, Africa’s largest carrier, is the official airline of this year’s World Press Freedom Day to be hosted in Addis Ababa from May 1st to 3rd. This year’s World Press Freedom Day is jointly organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in collaboration with the African Union (AU).
