Ethiopian Police Arrests Rioters in Addis AbabaBy Staff ReporterSeptember 14, 2018 - Ethiopian Police on Friday arrested unspecified members of Ethinc Oromo and Addis Ababa city dwellers who were allegedly involved in inciting violence in some parts of the capital, Addis Ababa. Federal Police Commissioner Zeyinu Jemal, however, said the clashes occurred after Addis Ababa City dewellers were replacing OLF’s flag with the national flag which were previoulsy placed for the reception of Ginbot 7 leaders last Sunday. The violence in the capital started on Wednesday has so far claimed the life of a person around Abnet area. There have been border clashes between Oromia and Somale regional states, as well as between Oromia and Sothern Ethiopia regional states. Also, there has been ethnic-based clashes between different groups inside states such as Somale, Benshangul, Southern Ethiopia, and Afar.
