Liverpool owner John W Henry has apologised to the club's supporters, players and staff for his decision to sign up to the now-collapsed European Super League. Liverpool Football Club can confirm that our involvement in proposed plans to form a European Super League has been discontinued. Ceferin also warned that any players taking part in the Super League could be banned from playing for their countries. Liverpool's involvement with the Super League plans has also led to club sponsor Tribus withdrawing from their partnership.
