Obituary Send FlowersEvelyn J. Forbes, 96, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY, died on Friday, October 7, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Dover Plains. Mrs. Forbes was a secretary at the Donald B. Dedrick Agency in Dover Plains for 20 years retiring in 1987. On June 8, 1947 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains, NY, she married Arthur W. Forbes who died on November 1, 1982. She was a former member of the Dover Senior Citizens and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Forbes is survived by a son, Arthur W. Forbes, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Charleston, SC and a daughter, Patricia Murphy of Dover Plains, NY; two grandchildren, Justin and Heather Forbes and a great grandson, Nathan Forbes.
