A former Minister of Education, Prof Chinwe Obaji, has lamented over the rising crisis of values, character, and conscience across Nigeria. This is as she called for renewal of moral values in the country. The former minister lamented the loss of moral courage, discipline, and communal strength in pursuit of wealth, saying they threaten Nigeria’s internal values. Ugorji said the 1926 Aba women’s revolt showed involvement and engagement of women and called for more inclusion at all levels.
