Former NRL player David Mead has recounted how he chased a pair of intruders out of his house following a terrifying home invasion in the middle of Tuesday night. Mead revealed that he was asleep at the time, but heard ‘something click' and jumped into action. Wearing only his underwear, Mead sped downstairs just as one of the crooks had entered his home. Mead, wearing only his underwear, followed the two burglars outside, but was unable to catch them. He made his way down the pathway and was heard shouting 'hey' as the intruders appeared to make it back to their vehicle.
