IRISH Book Corner have organised a book launch and an art exhibition in the Potting Shed, by Joly’s Garden Centre, at Ballinacoola in Glenealy. Ann Kavanagh is a visual artist, originally from Kilkenny, and she will be holding an art exhibition to coincide with the book launch. In her career, she taught Spanish in UCD and also lectured on the Spanish short stories. The launch night takes place on Friday, September 10, starting at 7 p.m.Annette will be present to read and sign copies of her book so bring along your copy to get it signed. The Irish Book Corner seeks to support independent writers and storytellers publish their work.
