Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand Saida Muna Tasneem has called upon the expatriate Bangladeshi parents to encourage their children to read the biography of Bangabandhu and be inspired to stand up against injustice, oppression and suppression. “Let us ignite the compassionate, progressive and secular values of Bangabandhu in our children and youth to stand against any discrimination or extremism,” she said on Saturday. A large number of expatriate Bangladesh children spontaneously took part in the discussion session. Earlier, the Embassy organized a thematic painting competition on “Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” participated by expatriate children from age 2 to 18 at the Bangladesh Embassy premises on the occasion. Later the Ambassador distributed certificates and prizes among the children who participated in the painting competition.
