A massive movement of travellers this festive season is set to cause a serious gridlock, authorities have warned. The Kenya National Highways Authority Director-General Peter Mundinia said Nairobi-Nakuru roads are set to have traffic snarl-up. “We request motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations,” he said in a statement on Monday. Early this month, authorities gave out measures aimed at curbing road accidents. IG of Police Hillary Mutyambai directed traffic police officers manning roadblocks to arrest all excess passengers in PSVs.
