The American space agency NASA has released the clearest image ever of the edge of a black hole. This supermassive black hole is located in the Circumstellar galaxy, 13 million light-years from Earth, and is constantly emitting radiation into space. The clouds of hot gas surrounding this black hole are very bright, which made it impossible to obtain details about it in the past. Now NASA has used the James Webb Space Telescope to image the strange and powerful forces at the edge of the black hole. Such supermassive black holes are active by continuously taking material from nearby galaxies.
