As soon as the Ezekiel Elliott suspension occurred, I posted on Forbes that this could be an NFL nightmare. The NFL tried that, but no touchdown. When the NFL suspended Dallas Cowboys heralded running back Ezekiel Elliott for domestic abuse allegations, it was inevitable that the NFLPA would challenge that decision in court. The NFL essentially said, “If you play football in the NFL, you did not get that right.” Well, once again the NFL got that wrong. The NFL should pay attention when a federal judge says there was “serious misconduct”.
