In Texas, the FBI nabbed an individual who was trying to sell cocaine at a convenience store. As is usually the case, Jorge Enrique Chacon was under investigation by federal authorities for trafficking in the Brownsville area. During their investigation, it was found that Chacon has possible ties to the Gulf Cartel, an organization based in Matamoros—across the border from Brownsville, Texas. Chacon met the informant at a Lowes parking lot to show him the coke before leading him to a convenience store parking lot for the sale.
