TEXASFocus on 2 brothers in border agent’s deathFBI agents investigating the unexplained death of a Border Patrol agent have turned their attention to two brothers who may be suspects, one of whom has been taken into federal custody on an immigration violation, according to court documents filed this week in New Mexico. Border Patrol agent Rogelio Martinez’s death last month was quickly seized upon by President Trump to reaffirm his case for a wall along the border with Mexico. But the FBI has said only that it is treating Martinez’s death as a “potential attack” and had yet to determine the circumstances of his death or whether it was an accident. The brothers denied having a role in the incident or knowledge of what happened to the agents. Police shuttled students away from the school and to a nearby park, where they were to be reunited with their families.
