Monrovia – Liberian followers of the Spanish-based football team, Football Club Barcelona, are set to officially launch a Liberian fan club in support of the team. They are under the banner “Football Club Barcelona Fan Club Liberia (FCBFCL).”They told the FrontPageAfrica Sport Desk that they are doing the launch on Friday, November 29, because it is on this day that the Club was established 120 years ago in Spain. According to him, two officials of both the Liberia Football Association (LFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports are expected to grace the occasion. We are going to also be involved with other national and patriotic duties to our country,” Johnson added as he invited every FC Barcelona supporters in Liberia especially those in Monrovia to the launch on Friday. He disclosed that the Club’s supporters are in high spirit for the launch of their Fan Club.
