The Board of Directors of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited has announced the sack of Adam Nuru as the Managing Director of FCMB Limited, and confirmed the appointment of Yemisi Edun as the substantive CEO/managing director of the bank. The embattled managing director of FCMB, Adam Nuru, had reportedly gone on leave as pressure for him to resign intensified. The Board of Directors of FCMB thanked Mr Nuru for his years of dedicated service and wished him all the best in his future endeavours. Edun was the former Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the bank. Edun joined FCMB in 2000 as Divisional Head of Internal Audit and Control before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Bank.
