Morocco’s women football team jumped from the 72nd to the 58th place in latest FIFA rankings. The Atlas Lionesses earned their new standing after making history in their first World Cup appearance. In Africa, Morocco ranks 4th standing behind Nigeria, South Africa, and Cameroon. Sweden tops the current FIFA women’s rankings. Spain comes in the 2nd place followed by the United States, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, and Canada.
