CAIRO, March 15 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held talks on Sunday with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassem Al Thani in Doha. The talks focused on exchanging views and coordinating positions on the rapidly evolving regional developments. Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Tamim Khallaf said, Abdelatty expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Qatar in the face of Iranian threats and unjustified aggressions. Meanwhile, the Qatari premier expressed profound gratitude for Egypt’s unwavering political support, commending Egypt’s tireless efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance Arab solidarity in the face of unprecedented challenges shaking the region. The meeting also addressed ways to further strengthen and develop the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
