The legal team of the Publisher and Managing Editor of the independence Front Page Africa (FPA) newspaper, Rodney D. Sieh has intensified the lawsuit against Octavin Williams, Publisher of the Nation Times newspaper and Vice President of the Press Union of Liberia at the Civil Law Court for Action of Damages. The Nation Times newspaper in one of its publications alleged that Mr. Sieh was finding it difficult with an alleged lawsuit against him in the United States for his alleged failure to settle his rental indebtedness to his former landlord at the Greenview Garden apartments. As a result of this unbiased report from the Vice President of the Press Union of Liberia, Mr. Octavin Williams who is also Publisher of the Nation Times, Mr. Sieh said with immediate effect has withdrew his membership from the Press Union of Liberia (PUL),. As a member of the Committee to Protect Journalists Africa Board, I will be notifying them of our action,” Mr. Sieh told the GNN-Liberia. No amount of blackmails or frivolous articles will deter me from writing about the criminal elements in the PUL.
