The Department of Science and Technology provided the cooperative with technical training and extension assistance, while the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) committed sustained milk supplementation to the project. The milk supplementation program that is a priority agenda of President Rodrigo Duterte under Republic Act 11037, or "Masustansyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act," is aimed at preventing malnutrition among grade school kids. Domingo said he would want nutribun to be given to children alongside milk from the BDC. Nutribun is a milky bread that years ago was given free to public school pupils to help combat child malnutritionSOURCE: https://www.manilatimes.net
