LeBron James explained his decision to delete a tweet in relation to the fatal shooting of a black teenager by police in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday. James tweeted a photo of the officer in question in relation to the Bryant shooting, stating "YOU'RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY". The shooting of the teenager occurred in Columbus, around 125 miles away from James' home town of Akron. James, known for using social activism, subsequently deleted the tweets and delivered an explanation on Twitter for doing so. The issue over the shootings of black victims by police is highly charged in America after a series of high profile incidents.
