The move comes after information on more than 50 million Facebook users were allegedly accessed without their consent by London-based analytics firm, Cambridge Analytica. The firm also denied having worked with Cambridge Analytica on any project related to social media. As the war of words continued between the BJP and the Congress party, the issue escalated on Thursday with both the parties accusing each other. Both parties have said they have not used the services of Cambridge Analytica.
