Facebook is facing growing pressure from prison chiefs to take down embarrassing videos filmed by inmates. Now chiefs want to get social media companies to remove the videos within hours. Sources say the Ministry of Justice has an agreement with Facebook that videos shot inside jails will be removed after an official request. One Facebook page, called Prison Life UK, contains more than 100 videos with many receiving more than 10,000 views. “It could be a lot better and we want to see the social media chiefs taking a more responsible approach to this.
