KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a 41-year old woman who had allegedly insulted Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V via a Facebook posting. City deputy police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim said the woman, who works as a farm manager in Sabah, was arrested in Kepong yesterday. The woman, whose Facebook username is Catt Ginger, had posted an offensive edited picture of Sultan Muhammad V along with the Hari Raya wish on June 25. It had irked netizens who urged police to take action against the user. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, via his tweet handle KBAB51, had congratulated police on the arrest.
