Brega Oil Marketing Company announced Friday that it had taken extraordinary steps to combat the crisis of cooking gas shortages as part of their responsibility to distribute fuel and gas throughout the country. The company also confirmed that the main cause of the cooking gas shortage crisis is unsafe cylinders, which were illegally imported by private businesses and contrary to laws and legislation in force, forcing the company to seize a large number of them for the safety of citizens.
