A Falklands War hero who machine-gunned five enemy soldiers to save his comrades during the Battle of Goose Green is selling his medals for £120,000 to help fund his retirement. Now aged 70, Sgt Maj Meredith has decided to sell his medals to secure his financial future. His medal group consists of the Distinguished Conduct Medal; General Service 1962-2007; South Atlantic 1982; Iraq 2003-11; Operational Service Medal 2000; Jubilee 2002; Accumulated Campaign Service Medal 1994; Army; Volunteer Reserves Service Medal.
