British High commissioner Jane Marriot has thanked the Kenyan government for evacuating its citizens to the UK. Last week, British Airways opened up a small number of additional flights from Nairobi to London in a bid to evacuate British nationals. "Thank you State House Kenya and British Airways for allowing families to be reunited in the UK and across the world and for stranded tourists to get home," Marriot said on Monday.
