NEW DELHI: Former CNN chief Jeff Zucker has expressed interest in his investment firm buying the all-news cable channel if it is put up for sale by its parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, reported the New York Post.Zucker was fired from his position as president of CNN after it was revealed he had an undisclosed relationship with a top subordinate. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has maintained that CNN is not for sale, concerns about the network's future have intensified amidst the company's $3.5 billion cost-cutting measures and Zaslav's decision to shut down the nascent CNN+ streaming service. According to Bloomberg News, the deal valued FOS at about $40 million. The company was valued at about $25 million when Crain Communications bought a minority stake in February 2022
