The Avalon will continue into 2022, but the TRD will be dropped at the end of the 2021 model year. The original 1995 Toyota Avalon was tailored to U.S. tastes and built exclusively in America. The 2005 Toyota Avalon, which added a little more style to the car, but still hewed close to the traditional formula. The all-wheel drive Avalon Limited and XLE models, as well as the front-wheel drive TRD, will be dropped at the end of the 2021 model year.
