ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts, Islamabad, acquitted former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in a fraud case. Fawad Chaudhry appeared in court along with his lawyers Shams Iqbal Advocate and Qamar Inayat Raja Advocate. Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyers presented arguments on the acquittal application. Shams Iqbal Advocate said in his arguments that the evidence in the case against Fawad Chaudhry is insufficient, and the complainant’s lack of interest is also before the court. The court, after reviewing the record, acquitted Fawad Chaudhry from the case.
