The Scottish Government have been accused of failing to live up to its funding promise surrounding an initiative which is meant to promote Scotland to the world. The SNP executive vowed to scale up its GlobalScot project with extra resources just a number of years ago. It is understood that the amount of money given to GlobalScot is decided by Scottish Enterprise which is a government quango. If Ministers aren’t careful, they risk turning GlobalScot into their latest zombie initiative – not well enough funded to do much of anything, but not quite dead altogether.
