Source: FacebookThe 26-year-old Kenyan sprinter clocked 9.77s in Nairobi in September 2021 to also emerge as the eighth fastest man in the world over 100m. Omanyala won the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2022 African Championships in Athletics taking home millions. As a gold medal winner in the Commonwealth games, Omanyala received $70,000 (KSh 8.6 million) as per The Scotsman. Omanyala acknowledged that as a sprinter, he would retire early and as such, he needs diverse sources of income in his sunset years.
